Saathi Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for the application SAATHI and how Saathi collects and/or uses the information that you provide.

The policy describes the available choices for you regarding our use or your user information and how you can access, edit, update or delete it.

What information does Saathi obtain and how is it used?

This section is designed to inform Users of the types of data that Saathi obtains and how that information is used.

1. WHAT INFORMATION IS OBTAINED BY YOU?

Saathi obtains the information you provide when you download and register the application on your mobile device. It validates whether the user is active in Saathi application or not.

2. INFORMATION DISCLOSURE AND SECURITY

• We will not share, trade, sell or provide your information to any third-party individuals, companies or organizations.
• We use a high level of security and encryption to protect your data and personal information.
• You will not be able to use the app as soon as you stop working with MOFSL. Therefore, the application will stop using your information including location tracking.
• In compliance with Google Policies a permanent notification will be shown in the notification bar whenever the app is running in the background and collecting location info.

3. WHY WE TRACK LOCATION FROM THE APPLICATION BACKGROUND?

We would like to provide the best facility to our user to track their official travel plans and claim their travel expenses through mobile app. This way our users can track their travel locations and apply for travel conveyance.

We do not monitor their unofficial travels and this application is entirely used to track their official expenses only.

4. WHY DOES YOUR APP NEED ACCESS TO LOCATION IN THE BACKGROUND?

Since employees do make use of their device for many other usage such as calling, emails and other entertainment purposes also, the Saathi app can interfere and disturb their other activities if always kept on foreground.

Before running the app in background, we always take their consent by enabling the location.

5. WHAT INFORAMTION DO WE COLLECT FROM THE SAATHI APP?

Geolocation: When you run the Saathi App, we collect your location data through GPS, WIFI, or cellular triangulation. We use this data to provide location tracking service. We maintain this data only as long as is reasonable to provide our service. Out-of-date data is removed.

Cookies: We use cookies to keep you logged in and save your visit preferences.

5. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use this information to allow to provide travel conveyance. We only capture the location (latitude and longitude) of the location where you travel.

6. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DON'T WANT TO GET TRACKED?

You can disable the 24x7 tracking option from the setting of the application. However, please note, if you disable the tracking, you won't be able to claim your expenses.
